Mom & Dad ?

Happy Thanksgiving to you in Heaven.? I am preparing a Turkey Feast with all the trimmings.? We will definitely have way too many leftovers. I remember how you would prepare holidays meals for so many in our family ? for all your children/spouses, aunts and uncles and all the way down to your grandchildren.? You were absolutely at an all-time high when you knew everyone had eaten more than they really should have.? Your holiday meals were always the best. You were one-of-a kind cook!

I truly feel blessed and am extremely thankful for having you as my parents.? I love you two immensely!

I really miss you. ?I miss calling you. ?I miss hearing your voice. ?I miss your laughter.? I miss hearing you say I love you.??I deeply missed seeing your sweet face when I came to Ohio a few weeks ago.? My visit was not the same without you being there, however, I felt your presence everywhere.?

I know you always shared my joys, cheered my victories, and were so darn proud of any and all my accomplishments.? I also know that I think of you throughout each day, will forever miss your loving/caring motherly ways, and will continue to cherish the wonderful memories I have of you.? You were such a beautiful Mom and my best friend ? simply the best in every way!

How precious it is to see your picture posted here! A smile came to my face and then to my eyes came the tears. Knowing you had a beautiful day when your birthday came. Enjoying those precious moments with God who brought you our way. In Heaven you shall abide with the heavenly father and his precious son. Here on earth we shall remember where it all begun. What joy you sent our way each and every time we talked. The love you shared with so many never to be forgot. Today I will say with much love in my heart. You are dearly missed and will always be a part. A part of whom we are just like the family there with you. To be forever in our heart and memories as always we love you too.

I remember how much you enjoyed watching Diamond Rio perform ?One More Day? on GAC.? You loved this song!? You would say to me ? ?Oh? what I would give just to have one more day with your Dad, Henry and your Brother, Marvin.

From time to time, we would be talking on the phone when the video came on. ?You would tell me that it was playing.? I would turn on?the TV and?we would watch the video together?… you being in Ohio and me in Texas.? Often we would cry together.?? Mom ? If I could just have one more day with you ? I know that I would make every moment count!!? I am so missing you!!!?? I love you Mom.
